For use with OMNIShield Professional Face Shield Headpiece. When rotated above the face, the shield will catch in the 90 degree position to prevent the face shield from dropping without downward force being applied. Positioning pin allows you to adjust the rotation range of the face shield once its fixed to the hard hat. This allows you to customize neck protection and allow for hard hat clearance when rotated above the face. Slide up and down adjustable face shield position to provide optimal neck and forehead protection. Compatible & recommended slotted hard hats.

Valuable accessory for fathead welders.
I'm a welder. I have a fat head. The hardhats we get at work don't fit me. The special order hats I get don't turn around without removing and reinstalling the suspension. The company (for .... Reasons?) wants me to wear my hat bill forward. I cannot modify my hat. This adapter allows me to get the welding hood far enough off my face that I can raise and lower it without hitting the dials in my autodark. It's still close enough I don't go crosseyed while welding and close enough to protect my ugly mug and my fantastic beard but it allows me clearance over my larger than average bill. I keep telling them that it's solid bone ear to ear and the hardhat really won't do anything my thick skull isn't already doing. This is my approved workaround. If only management would buy them for me. Cheapskates.
